Hey everyone! I got a request on how to choose the right makeup for yourself! With seasons changing, so do makeup trends. Your skin gets darker or lighter so you need to adapt to the new "shade". You can either go and get a complete makeover and have a make up artist tell you what to do, or you can learn right here all by yourself!
Choosing a foundation
1. Wear a white shirt
Make sure you're standing in natural lighting, this will make a huge difference! Determine your skin tone. Look to see if your skin looks more warm- yellow/red
Or cool-pink/blue. This color will be the underlying pigment. There are many skin colors but only two skin tones: warm or cool.Once you determine this, you're one step closer to choosing the right foundation.

2. Find a foundation that matches exactly to your skin
You may have to update from summer to winter depending on if your skin tone changes, which most do.

3. Try out the foundation
Most people try out their foundation on their hand.. but that will not be the right test. The best place to test foundation is right on your jawbone.

Choosing blush
Blush is meant to highlight your cheek bones, so choose something subtle, not something streaky.
-try a beige or tawny if you are faired skin
-darker skin should use plums for coolr colors or bronzed for warm
-medium skin tones should look into peach, rose, or corals
Choosing eyeshadows
You can have so.much fun with eyeshadows! But make sure you're choosing colors that compliment your eye color and skin tones
Blue eyes: stay away from blues! Purples, browns, taupes, and slates are the way to go!
Brown eyes: brown eyes can pull off pretty much anything but to make your eyes pop, use: greens, pinks. Also try blues or golds
Green/Hazel eyes: Various purples. Or for a more natural try warm tones such as mocha browns.
I hope this was helpful information in helping you pick the right makeup for you!
