Last Minute Halloween Makeup-DIY

Hello beautiful people and Happy Halloween! If you're like me, you don't feel the need to spend tons of money on a halloween costume.  And halloween came up so fast this year and in between my sister expecting a baby and my mom and I purchasing a salon, I didnt event have time to think of a costume. So I went on pinterest this morning, looked up halloween face painting,  picked one,  and went to town on it. I didn't even have halloween makeup, I used all my own makeup!
So here is how I put this look together in a half hour (if that)

Step 1: I primed my face and then put on my regualr foundation.  I then did highlighting and contouring like I normally would,  using Loreal True Match concealer and Maybelline Fit Me stick in 350. I took my Jumbo NYX Pen in Milk and highlighted aroubd my eye, nose, and mouth.

Step 2:
I used Mary Kay gel eyeliner and my NYX liquid liner to make the spots. (Most eyeliners will work)
I also used the gel liner to line my eyes and to make my nose

Step 3: I used my Maybelline Matte in Devine Wine for my lips. And Rimmel Exaggerate in Obsessed for my lip liner.
Dark lips work well for this look.

Its ok to exaggerate the highlighting and contouring. I mean it is Halloween. I only did half of my face like this, and did more natural makeup on the other side with some cheetah print to accent my brow bone

most importantly,  when you're finished, make sure you powder your face for a long lasting finish!
For the rest of my look I just wore all black today because well, I'm a cosmetologist and I can.
I hope I helped you guys out a bit! Get creative without spending a ton!

Have a fun and safe holidy!

Breakup With Blackheads

I don't know about you lovely people, but the pores on my nose demand something strong and some serious attention. This past Spring, Biore introduced two new Deep Cleansing Pore Strips one of which is the Ultra Deep formula which contains Witch Hazel and Tea Tree Oils to suck out those nasties that get deeply embedded into the pores of your nose.
Do they work?
Oh hell yeah.

Not only do they pull out dirt and what not, they actually EXTRACT blackheads and whiteheads out of your nose. If you have read any of my previous posts about GlamGlow, you know that as a mask, it  does the same and you also know that i struggle with my pores on and around my nose. These strips are different. They solely focus on your nose. You place the strip on a wet nose, and wait for 8-10 minutes. You then rip the strip off and you can LITERALLY SEE the stubs of dirt and black heads sticking to the strips. I took a few pictures so you can kind of see.

I used to use these strips 2-3 times a week, but now that I finally have my pores under control, I'm down to using them about once a week. When I first started using these strips, the amount of gunk that came out of my nose, was seriously disgusting.
but as you can see what a difference it has made!

You can purchase these strips for $7.99 at most stores such as: Target, Shopko, WalMart,Walgreens etc

This is a product that I can continue to repurchase because I know that it's working. I can't wait to try on my boyfriend's face and see how much junk I can get out of his face!

Divine Wine Matte Lips- First Impression

Hey everyone! I hope everyone is having a super fantastic fall! I know I am!
In one of my recent posts, I had just gone on a Lipstick Haul in search of the new Maybelline Matte lipsticks and I came home with 1 out of the 2 I wanted. I did get my hands on Darling Nude but was still missing Devine Wine out of my collection. Almost every Target I looked out they were all out of this color!!! But I FINALLY got my hands on it!
I have been stepping out of my box a bit, and wearing more and more of the dark lips. And with it being fall, and holidays coming up, I believe dark lips are perfectly acceptable! Sooo shall we see it?!

This is what the lipstick looks like in with it's packaging. SO pretty. I paid 5.49 for this beaut.

So this is what it looked like when i put it on as soon as I got it. I was really kind of iffy about it and its color. But i decided to play around with it.

After playing with it, I have to say I'm in love. It truly is the perfect color for fall! I purchased Rimmel Exagerate Lip Liner in Obsessed to accompany it. I felt that those two go together perfectly. As you can see, I kept my eye makeup simple while wearing this lipstick. I did this because I really wanted the attention to be on my lips, not a bunch of different spots on my face. So I used NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk on my lid with NYX liquid liner. I felt as though I had a flawless face with this look.

I did eat and drink through my 10 hour work day, and only had to touch up my lips one time! So it really does last a long time. I do recommend exfoliating your lips before applying any matte lipsticks!
I just love it. I encourage you all to step out of your comfort zone and try something new, like red lips! Seriously, you won't go back!

Have you tried this lipstick?! What are your thoughts? Do you have a favorite lipstick? I'd love to hear from you guys!

Black 1inch-strap top- Maurices
White Cami- Target $9
Grey Cardigan- Target $20
Black Leggings- Target $8
Cream Boot socks- Maurices $10

This is definitely my ideal outfit.  It's super comfortable and I can change it up by changing my scarf if cardigan.  It's that easy and makes my mornings that much easier!
My hair is actually second day hair. I just brushed through my Luxy Hair Extensions for a soft curl. I used Kenra hairspray for a lasting finish!
