Top 20 BEAUTY Products!

Hey everyone!  Happy Sunday!  Most of you are winding down to start back up the work week again tomorrow,  and I'm doing the same. Eating chocolate chip cookies and watching the very last episode of true blood. Sad.
Anyway, my last post was my top 20 makeup products,  but now I want to share with you my top 20 beauty products...starting now...

1. Pure Seduction Perfume-This is my all time favorite perfume from Victoria Secrets.  You can purchase a bottle for $14.

2.Olay ProX Cleansing Brush- I can not express how much Iove this brush and what a serious game changer this was for me. I've had it for only about 2 weeks, but I went two days without using it and I noticed a not so good change in my skin. I purchased this brush at our local Shopko for $29.99.. way cheaper than the comparable Clarisonic.

Boots No 7 Perfect and protect serum- I got this as a gift from my boyfriends sister.  She said she used this for three years and that it's pretty much amazing.  So of course I wanted to give it a try and let me just say she was right!  This product makes such a difference in my daily cleanse routine.  Soft and smooth, and hydrating!  You can purchase at Target or Ulta for $20.

4. Witch Hazel-  I've been breaking out with little red bumps across my jawline. Changing my cleansing routine with the ProX brush has helped but I still noticed lots of bumps.  So after some research,   I found many good reviews on Witch Hazel from people who were having the same problem.  Its like a toner for your skin. Andddd its super cheap. I picked up cotton pads infused with Witch Hazel instead of the liquid itself and I have noticed a tremendous difference. The pads cost about $4 at Walmart.

5. Essie Nail Polish 'Fuji'- this is a soft pink/nude polish that has just enough pigment without going over the top. I purchased this from Ulta for $8

6. Essie Nail Polish 'I'm addicted' I also purchased this nail polish from Ulta for $8. It's pretty much the exact opposite as Fuji. It's a neon blue and I think it's absolutely gorgeous.  It's my favorite polish

7. Jergens Natural Glow Body Lotion- this is a self-tanner that gradually adds color, without streaking and also moisturizes! You can pick this up at most drugstores for $8-10.

8. TanWise- this is from Sally Beauty supplies for around $12. It gives an instant tan, and also develops over the next 6 hours after applying.  However, it can be streaky, and have that fake tan smell. So I usually put it on and let it develop on a day off.

9.EOS Shaving Cream-  this shaving cream has a consistency of a lotion. Which allows you to shave wet, or dry.  It is a moisturizer built right in so it leaves you with a smooth shave. They have three different scents: Vanilla, raspberry,  and lavender.  I own vanilla and raspberry. I purchased from WalMart for $3.

10. Biolage Hydrasource conditioner- I LOVE LOVE LOVE, the HydraSource Conditioner. It just leaves my hair feeling brand new, so a lot of the time when I'm in the shower, I'll use it as a deep conditioner, just leave it on for 3-5minutes. You can buy this in salons for around $18

11. Paul Mitchell Super Skinny- this is my all time favorite hair serum. It helps with friz and to mend your ends together.  And gives great shine. You can purchase at a salon for $6 for a small bottle or $18 for a large.

12. Coconut oil- this is a universal product that has been introduced the beauty world this last year. Yes, it's always existed, but only in the baking aisle.  People have raved over the wonders this stuff can do and I also do a lot of raving for it. Love it for a deep conditioner, shaving cream, body cream, eye makeup remover.  Just lots you can do with it for only $6!

13. Old Spice 'Wolfpack' deodorant- yes Old spice is for men, and yes I use it. I use it because I find it does a better job of lasting through the day. I use the Wolfback because its not too manly of a smell. However, I carry..

14. Dove Pomegranate deodorant in my purse and always have it on hand at the house. I can purchase both of these for around $4

15. Biore cleansing strips- purchased two boxes of these back in May when I saw how bad my nose looked. I'm so happy with this purchase because you can literally see all the crud( blackheads/whiteheads) these strips pull out of your nose. These go for around $8 at Target or must drugstores

16. Mary Kay Satin Lips-
you have never tried MaryKay Satin Lips-you are not living. If you're a big lipstick/lipgloss wearer, or just have dry lips, you will be in love with this product.
It's a two step process. You apply the mask, and rub it in for like a minute or two, and then wipe off. All your dead skin comes with it!Then you apply the balm to come with it. It is seriously amazeballs! I prefer this system versus exfoliating my lips with a tooth brush. And if you're looking at getting some, I am a Mary Kay consultant and would love to assist you(:

17. Maybelline Flash Clean- bought this makeup remover at Ulta for like$3 and was really impressed with the fact that all you do is wipe on-wipe off. No water necessary.  And it took all my eye makeup off without me looking like the grudge

18. Neutrogena Makeup wipes- these are my favorite makeup removing wipes. They really do get the makeup off your face.  I've tried others but they don't quite compare.  You can buy these wipes for like $6-$8 depending on the store.

19. Crest 3D white strips & Arm 'n hammer whitening tooth paste-These are both Essential in Keeping my pearly whites in check!

20. Cetaphil Moisturizer- I love the body moisturizer and the face moisturizer.  I'll use the face moisturizer after my AM face wash and the body after my showers.  The face moisturizer sells for $10 and the body is $7. Well worth it!

WHEW, Once again that was a lot! But I wanted to share with you my favorite products that I use all the time ! What are your favorites?!

My Top 20 for under $20!

Happy Thursday everyone! I have lots of extra time today, and I'm in front of my computer versus my phone so I thought I'd give you a little more lengthy, detailed blog!

Everyone knows I'm a fan of going into the make-up store and splurging. However, my bank account cries when I do that, and what everyone may not know, is I use A LOT of drug store products because they're readily available, and way less expensive, and to be honest, a lot of them are just as good as the products in Sephora. But you can also get some great products from Ulta or Sephora for $20 or under. So with that being said, I'm going to tell you guys my Top 20 Favorite Makeup Products for under $20!

1. NYX Liquid Black liner. I saw Cody Wren use this for her winged liner look and it looked amazing! (If you're not following her on instagram, you should) So I picked this up at Target for $5.99, which is a total steal because I was using Ink For Eyes by Urban Decay which runs at $19.99. This eyeliner gets the job done for a dramatic line, and lasts all day!

2. Real Techniques Beauty Sponge. This sponge is a dupe for the Beauty Blender which sells for $20 and up. But I purchased this sponge for $5.99 at Ulta (some Targets carry it)and it lives up to the Beauty Blender reputation. I believe it's a little smaller but still gets the job done for a flawless application!

3.Rimmel Stay Matte Powder- This Powder is great for a Matte finish, hence the name. I put this on when I'm finished with my makeup because it gives up to 5 hours of natural shine control. It also helps to minimize my pores. It comes in various shades. You can even use it as a bronzer. I use shade 004 Sandstorm. I picked this up at Shopko for $4

4. L'Oreal True Match Concealer. This product is readily available at most drug stores for $7.99. I LOVE this product for a highlighter versus a concealer, and it's a product I continue to repurchase when I run out. It gives great coverage!

5. Revlon ColorStay Foundation. If you're looking for a inexpensive, maxmium coverage foundation this would be the one for you. And a lot of the YouTube, Beauty Bloggers, turn to this foundation and call it their holy grail. I was inspired through Cody Wren, once again, to get the Revlon Color Stay Liquid foundation and Mix it with the Revlon Color Stay Whipped Foundation. This combination, is the real deal! Both foundations are available at Ulta and most drugstores for around $9-10.

6.NYX Butter Gloss- If you love lipsticks/Lip gloss but can't stand that awful taste/smell they give off, then NYX Butter Gloss is your go-to. These glosses and lipsticks are so pigmented and creamy! They go on smooth and give great color. They range from nudes, to darkest reds and pinks! I usually get mine from Target or Ulta for $5 and carry at least two in my purse!

7. Anastasia Brow Pomade- This is my holy grail brow product. You can purchase this product for $18 at Ulta or sephora. The brow pomades give a great, lasting look to your eyebrows and come in various shades! I use the "Chocolate" shade. This product is also water proof and smudge free!

8.Wet n Wild Fergie on the Daily- This is a favorite lipstick of mine. I have always been a fan of the nude lip. Fergie on the daily gives a great nude color for $2! Umm can you say steal! I purchase mine from Wal-Mart!

9.Maybelline Fit Me Foundation- This foundation goes for$5.99 at the drugstores and I have used this stuff since my Junior year. It doesn't have full,caked-on, coverage, but its enough to get me by for a day of work or a lazy day. I love this foundation because it's easy to found the right shade for your skin tone , it's inexpensive, and is easy to apply. I keep 3 different shades on hand all the time. 220-230.

10.NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil- Can you tell that I like NYX Products? I purchased this product at Ulta for $5. This is another product that Cody Wren has brought into my life. (Seriously follow her! @codywren) I use this product as a base on my eye lips, or on my bottom lip to open my eyes! This product goes on so smoothly and last all day. I use it every morning in my morning routine.

11. Wet N Wild Mega Length Mascara- I feel like everyone frowns upon the Wet N Wild brand because it's inexpensive. However, I love them and I love the price. This mascara is perfect for me, because I like to wear fake lashes, and it blends my real lashes and fake ones together perfectly! It also allows me to lengthen my bottom lashes without getting it all over the place. This product is $3.99 at WAL-Mart!

12.L'OREAL Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream- I use this BB Cream in the "Anti Redness" because I have naturally red cheeks. This product comes out a little runny, but once you put it on your face, it matches your skin tone, and becomes a little thicker. It get's rid of the red tone and is a great base. You can purchase this wonderful BB Cream for $7.99 at all drugstores!

13. Rimmel BB Cream- Another all time favorite BB cream that gets the job done. I keep the light/medium shade and medium/dark shade on hand all the time. It's a skin perfecting make-up is what it is! It primes, moisturizes, minimizes pores, conceals, covers, smooths, mattifies, brightens, and protects. Oh and lasts all day! Whew, that was a lot. That's a 9-in- 1 which is why I love this product. This product is also available at the drug store and Ulta for $7

14.Maybelline Color Tattoo- I only own one of these but they are great dupes for Mac Paint Pots that everyone raves about, and they're a total steal. I have 05 Too Cool, and it's  a shimmery white color. These also make for a great eyeshadow base, or look great all on their own. Amazingly creamy and blend great! This product rings up between $5-7.

15.Elf Cosmetic Brushes- These makeup brushes range from $1-5. They're great and inexpensive. I own 7 elf brushes and they for sure get the job done. You can find these brushes at Target!

16.Urban Decay Finishing Spray- Now I know the full size bottle is around $30, however you by the smaller size for about $12-14. This stuff is a serious game changer. It gives your face a lasting look all day and all night and is great for controling oiliness. I purchase the purple and white bottle from Ulta.

17. Maybelline Line Stiletto Ultimate Precision Liquid Eyeliner- I find myself going back to this eyeliner continuously not only is this inexpensive but the color is actually black, and I like black. This is a felt tip liner and great for creating winged liner and does not dry out. Available at most drugstores  and Ulta for  $6.

18    MAC Prolong Wear Concealer.  This is a high-end concealer that runs around $19 for a bottle.  This concealer gives maximum coverage. I like to use it under my foundation and as a light highlighter. The only flaw is that this has a pump that always pumps out way more than what I need. If you are looking to splurge on a high-end concealer I would give this one a try.

19.Urban Decay Eye shadow Primer Potion- This is not a drugstore product and reaches that $20 limit. But this is an amazing product and wanted to share it with all of you! You do not know the true meaning of "Amazing Eye makeup"until you've used this stuff. I didn't know what I was missing out on until I purchased my own. The difference it made in my eye shadow was just amazing! The brightness was over the top, you could really distinguish the colors! The life of my eye shadow was lasting all day and night. You can purchase for $20!

20. NYX Lip Primer- This is the only lip primer that I have ever tried and I am very impressed. I can definitely tell a difference when I don't wear it. It takes away the creasing on the lips, and gives a smooth lasting application. I purchased this at Ulta for $5.99.

WOWZA! There it is. My favorite products for under $20! I hope this helped all of you so you can get some amazing products and not break the bank!

Updated Full Face cleansing!

Hey loves!  So it my last couple posts,  you should have seen that I went on a face cleansing haul. A lot of girls want that “glowing skin” but the truth is makeup can only go so far in accomplishing that. It’s the canvas that matters (your natural face) and I just started to realize that.
I wasn't sure what to use or where to start seeing as how my other routine obviously wasn't working. So I asked my boyfriend's sister,  who has like flawless skin and looks good with and without makeup her secrets and she shared!
I've had all around trouble with my pores, especially on my nose,  my skin is red and blotchy when I take makeup off, and I recently started getting bumps along my jaw lines.  And it took one good look in the mirror and I was like "what the....ain't nobody got time for that!" So I went on a haul the next day and here's what I got!

She told be she had the Olay ProX  brush and loved it. So I checked out reviews.
I was using a microdermbrasion brush like once a week and that obviously wasn't cutting it. I had my heart set on the clairsonic, but didn't have my heart set on  dropping $200. So I bought the Olay ProX brush after seeing raving reviews on it. I paid $30 for it and I'd say it was a total steal!!! I use it twice a day and I noticed a significant difference after the first day. And after almost a week, those little bumps along my jaw line are vanishing before my eyes!!!

So in the morning I use Clean&Clear Morning Burst with my brush. I like this face wash because it really does have that fresh, waking feeling and smells great!
After the wash, I use NoXzema Pads and finish off with Cetaphil Facial Moisturizer. (Both Liz's recommendation)
Along with Morning Burst, I rotate with Clearasil Rapid Action Face wash.

Night routine

This is my makeup from today and I just wanted to go into the details on my nightly routine to show how great this brush is!

I used  my makeup wipes to remove my face, as I always do. And I usually end up using two. So here's the wipe after cleaning off my face.

I then used the brush with Clean&Clear Night Relaxing Deep Cleanser.
And here's the brush after the wash.
Umm gross. So this whole time Im thinking Im going to bed with a clean face when really there's still crud on it. This is why I love this brush. After seeing this, I knew this brush was living up to its rep!

Once again I follow up with the  NoXzema pads,  but instead of Cetaphil,  I continue to use my Seaweed Moisturizer I purchased from Ulta. If you haven't read my blog about it, to sum it up: its a thick nightly moisturizer that makes your skin feel amazeballs!

So thanks to Liz, I finally got on the right track to having a nice face..without makeup.  Im noticing that even my light foundations are starting to look good on me. I'm not having to wear all that caked on makeup.  The Olay ProX is to thank for that and I'm so incredibly happy with that purchase!!
